BUILDING FUNDRAISING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ARCHITECTS

We began our relationship with the Center for Architecture (formerly the Center for Architecture Foundation) by providing grant writing services—from logic model to budget development—which brought in needed government and foundation dollars. After we helped secure a capacity-building grant, CFAF hired us to help develop a more diversified and sustainable approach to fundraising. We worked closely with board and staff to draft a comprehensive revenue plan that included projections for the expansion of income-generating programs, and tactics and templates for every development effort, from donor research to stewardship. Over the course of our partnership, we crafted annual appeal language, helped plan and execute the organization’s first major fundraiser, and provided interim executive leadership and transition coaching.
