REMIXING PUBLIC HEALTH HARVARD CLUB FRIENDRAISER AND GALA
Our team of Katherine DeFoyd and Liliana Marques helped conceive of, produce, and execute the Hip Hop Public Health Remixing Public Health dinner held at the Harvard Club on June 12, 2018. This “friendraiser” with 120 guests featured three panels of industry experts partnered with artist supporters such as Doug E. Fresh, DMC, Ashanti, and Chuck D. The evening was a kickoff to the 2019 gala also held in the Harvard Club Grand Ballroom with a special performance by Ashanti. During its second year, we went to a full gala format and the event helped Hip Hop Public Health secure five-figure sponsor contributions and established a host committee to help secure tickets. The event reached its financial goal and helped secure three new board members.
