STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR IMPACT AND SUSTAINABILITY
The Queens Council on the Arts wanted to take stock of its staff capacity and its impact on the Queens arts community when it hired our partner Katherine DeFoyd for strategic planning. Staff leadership also recognized the need for a stronger board of directors. With Katherine’s guidance, the organization developed a workable staffing plan, effective board bylaws and governance practices, an achievable plan for government appropriations, and, to make sure the Council was meeting its mission, a feedback loop for the community of artists being served.
