CAPACITY BUILDING LEADS TO RECORD FUNDRAISING
In fall 2016, Growth for Good produced SOPAC’s 10th Anniversary Dinner. Originally hired in 2015 to assist with building capacity in the development department and launching a capital campaign, planning the 10th Anniversary Dinner was a natural progression. Growth for Good helped SOPAC establish best practices around honorees and host committee members and set up an electronic journal and electronic bidding for the silent auction. The event not only established a new model for the event — which continues to be implemented by the SOPAC development team — it broke all fundraising and participation records.
