We Must All Do Better

Our friend, blogger, and attorney Lisa E. Davis wrote, Malls are closed. Offices are closed. Beaches are closed, but racism never takes a day off. At Growth for Good we condemn the white supremacy, institutional racism, and the omnipresent microaggressions that for more than 400 years have caused immeasurable anguish and trauma in communities of color. Racism is a cancer on our nation. We reject these injustices. It is not ok.

We are heartbroken. We are also resolute in our commitment to stand with the protestors. The work of civil rights is far from done.

While we might never understand firsthand what it is like to be afraid for our lives because of the color of our skin, we know that the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and an unconscionable number of other people of color dating back four centuries must not be in vain. #BlackLivesMatter.

We all must fight for change: dignity, equity, and human rights.

We can and must all do better.

In solidarity,
Growth for Good
